About Candy and Jen
The Blue Balloon’s Magnificent Day represents the first creative collaboration of this sister duo. Jen’s charming illustrations and Candy’s writing have resulted in a story as delightful to look at as it is to read aloud.
Candy lives in San Diego with her husband, enjoys the SoCal beaches and spending time with their extended family, which includes 10 lively grandchildren. It is her joy to be fulfilling a life-long dream of writing for children.
